It protects Li-ion battery from the overcharge and the overcurrent. No overheating of self control protector: For protection of overcharging, Cut off the charging circuit when the fuse element melts, and at the same time, the flow of electric current through a heater is stopped automatically. Automatically mountable by general-purpose chip mounter as well as reflow solderable using an alloy with a high melting point as a fusible alloy in the device.
