- Thanks to John Shaw, I have a pin diagram of the MK3870 and the MK38P70. The MK just identifies Mostek as the chip manufacturer.
The 3859, manufactured by Fairchild, is essentially a 3850 and 3851 on a single chip. The 3870, manufactured by Mostek, is a 3850 and 3856 on a single chip. Here is a logical block diagram of the 3859 and 3870 microprocessors.
