300 VOLT / IN-LINE FUSES AND HOLDERS
Ferraz Shawmut SLR and SMF in-line fuses are used to protect fluorescent lighting fixtures and give increased safety and reliability to lighting systems. The SLR is a fast-acting 300V fuse which provides protection to lighting fixtures, whereas the SMF is a time-delay 300V fuse used in lighting systems. In the case of a fault occurring in an unfused fixture many other fixtures could be affected causing safety problems and long downtimes in your facility. By individually fusing fixtures, protection is provided to the entire branch circuit avoiding long downtimes. Some municipalities require an individual disconnect method on fluorescent fixtures.
