FT1505C is a single-chip 262k-color TFT LCD panel driver IC with built-in 172,800 bytes RAM, a 720-channel source driver, a 320-channel gate driver, and power supply circuit capable of supporting QVGA (240RGBx320-dot) resolution display. The dithering image processing is implemented in the FT1505C to provide 16.7M-color display quality and the Multi-domain Vertical Alignment (MVA) wide view angle display is also supported in the FT1505C. For efficient data transfer, the FT1505C supports 4 kinds of system interfaces which are i80-system MPU interface via 8-/9-/16-/18-bit bus, VSYNC interface (system interface + VSYNC, internal clock, DB17-DB0), serial data transfer interface (SPI), and RGB 6-/16-/18-bit interface (VSYNC, HSYNC, DOTCLK, ENABLE, DB17-DB0).
