MBL 8289 MBL 8289-1 BIPOLAR BUS ARBITER FOR MBl8086/8088/80186/80188/8089 April 1986 Edition 4.0 The Fujitsu MBl 8289 Bus Arbiter is a 20'pin, 5-volt-only bipolar component for use with medium to large MBl 8086/8088/ 80186/80188 multi-master/multiprocessing systems. The MBl 8289 provides system bus arbitration for systems with multiple bus masters, sucfl as an MBl8086/8088/80186/80188 CPU with MBl8089 lOP in its REMOTE mode, while providing bipolar buffering and drive capability.
