Description GL1150 is an efficient liner voltage regulator with ultra low noise output, very low dropout voltage (typically 17m V at light loads and 165m V at 150m A), and very low ground current (600u A at 100m A output current). GL1150 provides better than 1% initial accuracy. Designed especially for hand-held, battery-powered devices, GL1150 includes a CMOS or TTL patible enable/ shutdown control input. When shutdown, power consumption drops nearly to zero. Regulator ground current increases only slightly in dropout, further prolonging battery life. Key features of GL1150 include a reference bypass pin to improve its excellent low-noise performance, reversed-battery protection, current limiting, and overtemperature shutdown.
