LM2940
Overview
The LM2940 regulator features the ability to source 1A of output current with a dropout voltage of typically 0.4V and maximum of 0.63V over the entire temperature range. The device also finds applications in lower current, low dropout-critical systems, where their tiny dropout voltage and ground current values are important attributes.
