The IP2501 is a fixed PWM frequency, high Input Voltage Range 0.7V-5.5V efficiency synchronous step-up converter, it Wide Adjustable Output Voltage Range up to provide a power supply solution for products 5.5V powered by either a one-cell, two-cell, or Up to 96% Efficiency three-cell alkaline, NiCd or NiMH, or one-cell Output Voltage Accuracy ±2% Li-ion or Li-polymer battery.
At low load Maximum 400mA Output Current currents, the IP2501 exits the fixed switching Internal Synchronous Rectifier frequency mode and enter the power-down True Shutdown Mode mode to maintain a high efficiency over a Thermal Shutdown wide load current range.
The IP2501 provide a Short Circuit Protection wide output voltage range by adjusting the SOT23-6 Package feedback resistor divider.
