General Description
PIN PIN # NAME 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10, 11 12 13, 14 15, 16 17 18 19 DESCRIPTION STAT2 Open-drain indication pin.
In conjunction with STAT1 this pin provides a unique indication for each charging state of the cycle.
This pin is capable to sink 10mA minimum current to drive an LED.
Key Features
- synchronous PWM technology, maximizing power efficiency, thus minimizing charge time and heat. The 1.2MHz switching frequency allows use of small external inductors and capacitors. A simple charge current programming method is provided. External resistors program the fast charge and end-of-charge currents. The two status outputs can be used to drive LEDs, or can be connected to the host processor. A programmable charge timer provides the ability to detect defective batteries, and provides a seco.
