Transient Voltage Regulator DeCAPitator™
The Intersil DeCAPitator helps to stabilize a power system voltage during severe transients. It acplishes this by supplying current when the voltage is more than 1% low or sinking current when the voltage is higher than 1.5% from the average load voltage. The fast transient response of the DeCAPitator can make up for the slow response time of many switching DC-DC converters.
