Direct Down Conversion Transceiver
The Intersil ISL3684 Wireless LAN Integrated RF Front End is part the PRISM 3, 2.4HGz 11Mbit, 802.11b pliant radio chipset. The ISL3684 interfaces directly with Intersil's ISL3871 Integrated LAN Medium Access Controller with Baseband Processor. The addition of the ISL3984 Power Amplifier and ISL3084 5GHz VCO pletes the PRISM 3 LAN radio application.
