These units will protect 8 individual single ended AC control lines. The design incorporates Metal Oxide Varistors (MOV). The unit limits the voltage swing on the line to the Varistor voltage rating. These units are designed to be connected to the lines to be protected and ground. Grounding lugs provide tie points for earth ground. These units feature a weather resistant housing featuring a lockable hinged cover and mounting holes are provided on the rear of the enclosure for mounting. The two cable grommets may be adjusted to cable size and are removable.
