LR1084 General Description Features The LR1084 is a series of low dropout positive voltage g Low Dropout Voltage: 1.3V Typically at 5A regulators with a maximum dropout of 1.5V at 5A of g Current Limiting and Thermal Protection load current. g Output Current: 5A The series features on-chip thermal limiting which pro- g Current Limit: 6.5A vides protection against any combination of overload g Operating Junction Temperature Range: 0 to and ambient temperatures that would create excessive 125oC junction temperatures. It also includes a trimmed band- g Line Regulation: 0.015% (Typical) gap reference and a current limiting circuit. g Load Regulation: 0.2% (Typical) The LR1084 is available in 1.5V, 1.8V, 2.5V, 2.85V, 3.3V and 5.0Vversions.
