MP3212 1.3A, 1MHz Step-up Regulator with Integrated Input Disconnect Switch DESCRIPTION The MP3212 is a high efficiency, fixed frequency, current-mode boost converter with input disconnect, inrush current limiting, internal softstart and compensation. The 1MHz switching frequency allows for smaller external components producing a compact solution for a wide range of load currents. The input disconnect feature provides complete isolation from output to input when the device is in either shutdown mode or fault condition. The internal compensation minimizes the external component count and soft-start limits the current during startup. The MP3212 automatically transitions into pulse-frequency modulation mode to achieve better efficiency at light load.
