General Description

The MP4248 is a buck-boost converter with two integrated low-side MOSFETs (LS-FETs).

The device can deliver up to 140W of peak output power at a certain input voltage (VIN) range with excellent efficiency.

The MP4248 is suitable for USB power delivery (PD) applications.

MP4248 36V, 140W, Buck-Boost with Integrated Low-Side MOSFETs, Supports High-Side Current Sense and I2C.

Key Features

Fault condition protections include constant current (CC) current limiting with a high-side (HS) current sense, output over-voltage protection (OVP), and thermal shutdown (TSD). The MP4248 requires a minimal number of readily available, standard external components, and it is available in a QFN-20 (3mmx5mm) package.
