MP5475
DESCRIPTION
The MP5475 is a plete power management IC (PMIC) that integrates four high efficiency step-down DC/DC converters and a flexible logic interface.
The integrated DC/DC converters provide constant-on-time (COT) control to achieve fast transient response. In addition, the 1MHz switching frequency (f SW) minimizes the external inductor and capacitor size. Full protection features include under-voltage lockout (UVLO), over-current protection (OCP), under-voltage protection (UVP), and thermal shutdown.
The output voltage (VOUTx) (where x = A, B, C, or D) can be adjusted via the I2C bus, or it can be preset by the multiple-time programmable (MTP) memory function. The power on/off sequence can also be configured by the MTP, or it can be controlled online via the I2C.
The first two rails or the last two rails can work in either independent mode or parallel mode, which can be configured via the MTP. The currentsharing function is implemented in parallel mode.
