General Description

The MagnTek rotary position sensor MT6501 is an IC based on advanced AMR magnetic sensing technology.

The sensor contains two Wheatstone bridges formed by a magnet field sensing element array.

A rotating magnetic field in the x-y sensor plane delivers two sinusoidal output signals indicating the angle (α) between the sensor and the magnetic field direction.
