MAX4397
MAX4397 is Audio/Video Switch For Dual SCART Connectors manufactured by Maxim Integrated.
Description The MAX4397 dual SCART switch matrix routes audio and video signals between an MPEG encoder and two external SCART connectors under I 2C- control, and meets the requirements of EN50049-1, IEC 933-1, Canal+, and Bsky B standards. - Video Outputs Drive 2VP-P into 150Ω - Audio Outputs Drive 3VRMS into 10kΩ - Clickless, Popless Audio Gain Control and Switching Features The video and audio channels feature input source - AC-Coupled Video Inputs with Internal Clamp and selection multiplexers, input buffers, and output buffers Bias for routing all inputs to selected outputs. The MAX4397D audio encoder input is differential DC-coupled, while the - DC-Coupled Video Outputs MAX4397S audio encoder input is single-ended AC- posite Video Signal Created Internally from coupled. Except for the MAX4397D’s audio encoder Y/C Inputs input, all other inputs and outputs are AC-coupled with internal DC-biasing set to predefined levels. - Internal Video Reconstruction Filters Provide The MAX4397 provides programmable gain control from -35d B at 27MHz +5d B to +7d B in 1d B steps for Red, Green, and Blue - Differential (MAX4397D) or Single-Ended ponent video signals. All other video outputs have a (MAX4397S) Audio Encoder Input fixed +6d B gain. Additional features include an internal Luma and Chroma (Y/C) mixer that generates a - Red/Chroma Switch for Bidirectional I/O posite video signal (CVBS) to supply an RF - I2C-Programmable RGB Gain from +5d B to +7d B modulator output, and internal video reconstruction lowpass filters with a cutoff frequency of 6MHz. The - I2C-Programmable Audio Gain Control from +6d B MAX4397 TV audio channel features clickless switching to -56d B . and programmable volume control from -56d B to +6d B in - Meets EN50049-1, IEC 933-1, Canal+, and BSky B 2d B steps. The VCR audio output also has programmable Requirements gain for -6d B, 0d B, or +6d B. The device also generates monaural audio from left and right stereo inputs. All audio drivers deliver a...
