It is specifically designed to be compatible with the video encoders embedded in application processors with 0.4VP-P video output. The input common-mode range includes GND, which allows a video DAC (digital-to-analog converter) to be DC-coupled to the MAX9680. The output swings within 2mV of GND and 20mV to VDD with a standard back-terminated video load (150I).
