MAX16550/MAX16551 Integrated Protection IC on 12V Bus with an Integrated MOSFET, Lossless Current Sensing, and PMBus Interface General Description The MAX16550/MAX16551 are protection ICs with an integrated low-resistance MOSFET and lossless currentsense circuitry featuring SMBus/PMBus™ control and reporting. The ICs are designed to provide the optimum solution for distribution, control, monitoring and protection of the system’s 12V power supply.
