MAX77950 EVALUATION KIT AVAILABLE WPC/PMA Dual Mode Wireless Power Receiver General Description The MAX77950 is an advanced wireless power receiver IC that meets the specification requirements for WPC low-power (v1.2) and PMA SR1 (v2.0) communication protocols. This device operates using near-field magnetic induction when coupled with a WPC or PMA transmitter and provides output power up to 12 watts. The IC has precision output current and voltage-sensing scheme over the entire load range. It enables accurate received power packets, as defined in the WPC specifications for best foreign object detection (FOD). The IC supports FSK demodulation to receive PMA advertisement ID as well as WPC FSK packets. The IC features the patent-pending PeerPowerâ„¢ function.
