The response time of their clamping action is virtually instantaneous (less than 100 ps for unidirectional and less than 5 ns for bidirectional). They have a peak pulse power rating of 500 watts at 10/1000µs as depicted in figures 1 and 2. They are also virtually identical to power ratings and electrical features of the P5KE5.0 through P5KE170CA series that had also been earlier defined for this same package.
