features a programmable state controller, an on- chip 700 V SENSEFET™ power switch circuit, 700 V active off- line startup circuit including a high voltage JFET and a low voltage MOSFET, auto restart logic, fixed frequency duty cycle controlled oscillator, current limiting parator with leading edge blanking, latching pulse width modulator for double pulse suppression, and a high gain amplifier with a bandgap reference. Protective features include cycle- by- cycle current limiting, input undervoltage lockout with hysteresis, and a non- latching thermal shutdown. These devices are available in economical 8- pin dual- in- line and five pin TO- 220 style packages.
