MTD214 Overview
MTD214 contains integrated functions of the Ethernet encoder/decoder and UTP/AUI interface. The encoder/decoder conforms to IEEE 802.3 protocol and performance requirements while also retaining patibility with most popular network controllers. The UTP transceiver has a built-in waveform shaping function thus eliminating the requirement of an external filter.
