Product Overview
NCA1462-Q1 is a high-speed CAN transceiver with Normal and Standby modes and a VIO supply pin. It meets the physical layer requirements of the ISO 118982-2016 high speed CAN specification and meets the Ci A 601-4 Signal Improvement Capability (SIC) specification, and is fully interoperable with high-speed Classical CAN and CAN FD transceivers. The CAN signal improvements significantly reduce signal ringing on the network, allowing reliable CAN FD munication at 5 Mbit/s in larger topologies. In addition, the NCA1462 has a much tighter bit timing symmetry, enabling CAN FD munication up to 8 Mbit/s. The NCA1462 is intended as a simple replacement for high-speed Classical CAN and CAN FD transceivers, such as the NCA1042.
