P3T1035x UK/P3T2030x UK I3C, I2C-bus, 0.5 °C accuracy, digital temperature sensor Rev. 1.2 - 15 July 2024 Product data sheet 1 General description The P3T1035x UK/P3T2030x UK is a temperature-to-digital converter from -40 °C to +125 °C range. It uses an on-chip band gap temperature sensor and A-to-D conversion technique with an overtemperature detection. The device contains a number of data registers: Configuration (Conf) stores the device settings such as device operation mode, and temperature register (Temp) stores the digital temp reading, which municates by a controller via the 2-wire serial I3C/I2C-bus interface. The P3T1035x UK/P3T2030x UK can be configured for different operation conditions. It can be set in normal mode to monitor periodically the ambient temperature, or in shutdown mode to minimize power consumption. The temperature register always stores a 12-bit two's plement data (2 Bytes), giving a temperature resolution of 0.0625 °C. It also allows 8-bit (MSByte) reading with temperature resolution of 1 °C. In I2C mode, the P3T1035x UK/P3T2030x UK supports global read/write operations that allow the controller to access multiple devices simultaneously. It does not require the controller to access each P3T1035x UK/ P3T2030x UK individually. The P3T1035x UK offers the accuracy ±0.5 °C from 0 °C to +70 °C at VCC ≥ 1.62 V. The P3T2030x UK offers the accuracy ±2 °C from -40 °C to +125 °C at VCC ≥ 1.62 V. See detailed description of accuracy vs temperature and VCC range in Section 2 and Table 27. The P3T1035x UK/P3T2030x UK is available in WLCSP4 package and has 8 factory-programmed device address options.
