General Description

The TDA8012M is a sensitive PLL FM demodulator which is used for the second IF in satellite receivers.

It provides Automatic Gain Control (AGC) and Automatic Frequency Control (AFC) outputs that can be used to optimize the level and frequency of the input signal.

During the searching procedure, the AFC output provides a signal which is used for carrier detection.
