AF160
AF160 is Universal Wideband Active Filter manufactured by National Semiconductor.
Description
The AF160 state variable active filter is a general second order lumped RC network. Only four external resistors program the AF160 for specific second order functions. Lowpass, high pass, and bandpass functions are available simultaneously at separate outputs. Notch and allpass functions are available by summing the outputs in the unmitted output summing amplifier. Higher order systems are realized by cascading AF160 active filters with appropriate programming resistors.
Any of the classical filter configurations, such as Butterworth, Bessel, Cauer, and Chebyshev can be formed. The AF160 is pin patible with the AF100J.
