The LM1489/LM1489A are quad line receivers designed to interface data terminal equ ipment with data munications equipment. They are constructed on a single monolithic silicon chip. These devices satisfy the specifications of EIA standard No. RS232C. The LM1489/LM1489A meet and exceed the specifications of MC 1489/MC1489A and are pin-for-pin replacements. The LM 1489/ LM 1489Aare available in 14 lead ceramic dualin-line package.
