Description
The MSM6562B-xx controls a character type dot matrix LCD in bination with an 8-bit or 4bit microcontroller.

- Automatic power ON reset
- Can control up to 80 characters when used in bination with MSM5259
- Built-in character generator ROM for 160 characters with 5 ¥ 7 dots font and 32 characters with 5 ¥ 10 dots font
- Character patterns can be programmed by CG RAM
- Built-in RC oscillation circuit by an external resistor or an internal resistor
- Built-in bias dividing resistors for LCD driving
- Built-in contrast adjusting circuit
- Bidirectional transfer available on segment output
