General Description

The ML9209-xx is an alphanumeric type vacuum fluorescent display (VFD) tube controller driver IC which can display alphanumeric characters, symbols, and bar charts.

Vacuum fluorescent display tube drive signals are generated by serial data sent from a micro-controller.

  • Logic power supply and vacuum fluorescent display tube driving power supply (VDD) : 3.3 V±10% or 5.0 V±10%.
  • Vacuum fluorescent display tube driving power supply (VFL) : VDD.
  • 20 V to VDD.
  • 42 V.
  • VFD driver output current (VFD driver output can be connected directly to the VFD tube. No pull-down resistor is required. ).
