OB6573 Description

OB6573 is a 8-pin active power factor correction (PFC) controller designed to operate in continuous conduction mode (CCM) with average current control. It provides near unity power factor for universal input line voltage (85VAC 265VAC) with no need to sense the line input voltage. The IC allows major reductions in Bill of Materials (BOM) ponent count, PCB area and design time pared to traditional solutions.
