The device provides 1-to-2 HDMI 1.4b Active 3.4 Gbps splitter outputs and Demux features with programmable equalization, output voltage swing, pre-emphasis by setting either pin strapping option or I2C control, to optimize performance over a variety of physical mediums by reducing Inter-symbol interference. The integrated equalization circuitry provides flexibility with signal integrity of the signal before the high speed Demux, whereas the integrated pre-emphasis circuitry provides flexibility with signal integrity of the signal after the ReDriver.
