DESCRIPTION
The NE5240 is a two channel decoder for the Dolby Digital Audio System.
- The IC includes input latches to separate two channels of audio and control data, a precision internal voltage reference, and digital/analog signal processing circuitry for each channel. The IC design is implemented in a bipolar process to achieve low noise, low distortion, and wide dynamic range.
