This device is especially characterized for audio- amplifier applications, and can be driven by either RCA 1C03 or RCA l C04, n- p- n and p- n- p types, respectively. The 7Q.watt amplifier shown in Figs. 1 and 5 uses the RCA1B06 output device in coniunction with eleven other discrete transistors, thirteen diodes, and a 90- volt split power supply. The amplifier output is directly coupled to an B- ohm speaker.
