General Description
The RT8070 is a simple, easy-to-use current mode controlled 4A synchronous step-down DC-DC converter with an input supply voltage range from 2.7V to 5.5V. The device built-in an accurate 0.8V reference voltage and integrates low RDS(ON) power MOSFETs to achieve high efficiency in both WDFN-8L 3x3 and SOP-8 (Exposed Pad) packages.
The RT8070 operates in automatic PSM that maintains high efficiency during light load operation. The device Features cycle-by-cycle current-limit protection to prevent the device from the catastrophic damage in output short circuit, over-current or inductor saturation. Adjustable softstart...
