Description

The SGM8194 series is a low power, high DC and AC CMRR, voltage output current-sense amplifier.

This device is designed to provide optimal performance in battery management systems requiring over-current protection and precision current measurement.

Features

  • low input bias current, low offset voltage and zero-drift. The dynamic range is extended due to the latter two features when measuring current. Larger current-sense resistor can be used in mA level measurement.

SGM8194 Bidirectional, Low Power, Zero-Drift, Precision Current-Sense Amplifier GENERAL DESCRIPTION The SGM8194 series is a low power, high DC and AC CMRR, voltage output current-sense amplifier. This device is designed to provide optimal performance in battery management systems requiring over-current protection and precision current measurement. The SGM8194 can sense voltage drops across currentsense resistor with common mode voltage from -0.1V to 40V. The common mode voltage is independent with the power supply voltage due to its AC coupling and related signal sampling structure. The SGM8194 features low input bias current, low offset voltage and zero-drift. The dynamic range is extended due to the latter two features when measuring current.
