This device has a WDI input and an nWDO output. In normal conditions, the WDI is toggled within the preset timeout period called tWD in order to clear the watchdog timer. However, if an error event occurs and the watchdog timer is not reset within tWD, the nWDO is asserted to send out the alarm signal. The SGM819SxQ has an enable pin (nEN) to control the device to turn on/off the watchdog function.
