The M54/74HC298 is a high speed CMOS QUAD 2CHANNEL MULTIPLEXER/REGISTER fabricated in silicon gate C 2MOS technology.

It has the same high speed performance of LSTTL combined with true CMOS low power consumption.

These circuits are controlled by the signals WORD SELECT and CLOCK.
