S-34C02A is a 2-wired serial E2PROM for DIMM Serial Presence Detect which operates with low current consumption and the wide range operation. The S-34C02A has the capacity of 2K-bit and the organization of 256 words × 8-bit, is able to Page Write and Sequential Read. S-34C02A has Hardware Protect and Software Protect. Hardware Protect inhibits Write to all memory area by connecting the WP pin to VCC. Software Protect inhibits Write in 50% of the lower address (the address 00h to 7Fh) in all memory area by inputting mand when the WP pin is connected to GND or left open.
