General Description

The SM7012-Rxx GBIC Guide Rails enable a host platform to support a wide variety of cable media types and transmission ranges by plugging in the desired interface converter per the SFF 8053 specification.

The integral spring loaded metal door preserves the EMI integrity of the system enclosure when no module is present to fill the cavity.

The Stratos GBIC Guide Rails can be horizontally or vertically mounted.
