The PixiPoint® SH1201 mouse encoder is a cost-effective, highfunctionality IC that interfaces a force-stick sensor to a PS/2 or serial port.

Advanced motion control algorithm provides accurate cursor control.
Can be configured for PS/2 or RS232 serial communication with the host.
Can be configured as a standard 3-button mouse or a wheel mouse.
Complies with the Microsoft® Plug and Play External COM Device specification.
Click (select), double-click (execute), and slow drag are implemented in the IC.
no special driver support is required.
Provides built-in profiles to int.
