It operates over a wide input supply range of 1.5V to 12V, making it suitable for battery input and TFT-LCD applications. The 620kHz constant frequency oscillator minimizes the size of external ponents and allows simple filtering for noise sensitive environments. The integrated power NPN supports peak currents of up to 0.9A enabling the device to support 150mA at 15V from a 5V supply.
