The integrated speech and SC1062/SC1062A circuits line that perform are all Outline Drawing interface functions required in fully electronic telephone sets. They perform electronic switching between dialing and speech. The ICs operate at line voltage down to 1.6V DC (with reduced performance) to facilitate the use of mo re telephone sets connected in parallel.
