SiT5721 is Platform Stratum 3E DCOCXO manufactured by SiTime.
Description
The Si T5721 is the industry’s first digitally controlled OCXO (DCOCXO), enabling output frequency tuning via I2C interface with ±5 ppt (±0.005 ppb) resolution. The device delivers ±5 ppb over-temp stability, ±0.04 ppb/°C frequency slope (d F/d T) and Stratum 3E pliance in the smallest 9 mm x 7 mm package. Leveraging Si Time’s unique Dual MEMS® and Turbopensation® temperature sensing technology, the Si T5721 is engineered for the best dynamic performance, delivering the most stable timing in the presence of environmental stressors
- airflow, temperature perturbation, vibration, shock, and electromagnetic interference (EMI). The Si T5721’s environmental robustness enables unmatched ease-of-use and reduces system manufacturing overhead:
- Highly flexible location on the PCB
- Minimal shielding for thermal isolation
Si T5721 can be factory-programmed to any nominal output frequency between 1 MHz and 60 MHz. It is supported by the Si T6731 evaluation board.
