EM8475 Overview
The EM847x family is a single-chip MPEG audio/video decoder that supports DVD-Video, Superbit™ DVD, SVCD, VCD and audio CD media formats. Video decoding support includes MPEG-1, MPEG-2 MP@ML and MPEG-4 advanced simple video profile Level 51. Audio decoding support includes Dolby® Digital, MPEG-1 Layers 1 and 2, MPEG-4 high quality profile Level 2, and 16-bit linear PCM.
