Application Note: SY5072 BCM Boost PFC Controller Preliminary Specification General Description Features The SY5072 is a constant voltage BCM boost controller with Power Factor Correction (PFC) function. Constant ON Time control is applied to achieve high PF and low THD without multiplier. It drives the Boost converter in the Quasi-Resonant mode for high efficiency and better EMI performance. It adopts special design to achieve quick start up and reliable protection for safety requirement.
