Applications Note: SY5882A Single Stage Flyback and PFC Controller with Primary Side Control for LED Lighting and Multiple Dimming Mode Options General Description Features The SY5882A is a single stage Flyback and PFC controller targeting at LED Dimming applications, which can achieve up to 5% dimming level and high precision for full loading range. It is a primary side controller without applying any secondary feedback circuit for low cost, and drives the converter in the quasiresonant mode to achieve high efficiency. It keeps the converter in constant on time operation to achieve high power factor. SY5882A has CV mode for fast startup, especially in deep dimming. CV function is also can be used as the power supply of low energy MCU.
