It offers hardware interface modes for RS-232 (V.28), RS-422A (V.11), RS-449, RS-485, V.35, and EIA-530. The SP502 is fabricated using low- power Bi CMOS process technology, and incorporates a Sipex patented (5,306,954) charge pump allowing +5V only operation.
