Other features include low quiescent current, typically 100µA, and low dropout voltage, typically 300mV at full output load current. The device has internal output short-circuit protection and thermal shutdown to prevent damage under extreme conditions. The AAT3236 also features a low-power shutdown mode for longer battery life. A bypass pin is provided to improve PSRR performance by connecting an external cap.
